Anderson An-derson havo received word from their son Lamarr in Vietnam Viet-nam that he has been promoted promot-ed to the rank of Captain. He is stationed at the Bien Hoa Air Force Base. Saturday they traveled to Glendale and Kanab to visit family members mem-bers and to see a sister-in-law, Mrs. James R, Maxwell, who iu ine vauey vil-w ivieuiirui Center last week for medical care. Bill Boardman was taken to the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City last week. His wife and son Charles made the trip with him. Mrs. Zelma Robb left for Salt Lake City Tuesday to attend at-tend a Democratic convention and a cancer crusade meeting. She was also to visit with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gay-lord Gay-lord Robb, who is hospitalized. Mr. and Mrs. William Williamson, Wil-liamson, Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Re-vere Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton, Miss Helen Stones, Mrs. Sarah R. Stones and Mrs. Lula Bastian were in Beaver over the weekend because be-cause of the death of little Troy Yardley of Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. John R. Lister and three sons visited in St. George Sunday with the Alan and Jack Lister families. |
