In making the presentations, William D. Giano, Salt Lake Area Office, commended the J men for their faithful service to the FAA and for the contri- bution they have made to the aviation field. Federal Avia- tion Is charged with the safe and expeditious movement of arcraft, and the contribution these men have made in, this field is tremendous. Totaling more than 75 years of service, the following em- ployees were given pins as a memento and a mark of ap- $ preciation. Logan F. Carr com- pleted 30 years of Federal ser- s vice on October 30, 1969. His g tours of duty include tours at f San Francisco, Los Angeles, s Enterprise, and Cedar City. He saw duty with the Armed forces in the Korean Cam- g paign. He is presently a Flight a Service Specialist at the Ce- g dar City Flight Service Station, a Fifteen year pins went to 8 William Black, Lloyd Gordon, and Alcide Rheaume. Bill Black began his career with a FAA as a Radar Specialist at S Reno, Nevada. Other assign- a ments included Denver and H Salt Lake City. He is presently ffl Chief of the Radar Unit of the Airway Facilities Section in i Cedar City, Bill isthetfather of ten chldren. He is active in community affairs and is pre- a sently attending Southern U- tah State College in addition to his work with the FAA. g Al Rheaume is the Techni- cian-in-charge at the Bryce 4 Canyon facilities. Rheaume's career with the FAA began at Malad, Idaho. S Lloyd C Gordon is an Elec- 8 tronics Technician assigned to S the Radar Unit of the Airway 8 facilties Sector in Cedar City. 8 He served the FAA in Seattle, S Washington; and Hanksville, Utah, prior to his Cedar City $ assignment. He is a graduate 4 of the University of Washing- S ton. 4 |
