Show Cedar City VF W Post 3510 to host mid-winter confab Mr. Green Ls commander of District 5 of Utah including pasts in Cedar City, Beaver, Milford, Richfield and St. George and i.s also commander command-er of Post 3510 in Cedar City. Mrs. Green i.s president of the VFW Auxiliary in Cedar City. Other distinguished guests expected at the gathering will be Leland S. Gregerson, National Na-tional Service Officer, plus other Department officers and Veterans representatives from throughout the state. Registration will begin Friday Fri-day afternoon at 4 p.m. At 7 p.m. the Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Council Meeting and a Department meeting will be held at the same time. National representatives of VFW who will bo in attendance attend-ance at the conference will include Eric Sandstrom of the National Council of Tacoma, Wash., representing District 16, and Miss Erline Mayberry, of Elkin North Carolina, president pres-ident of the VFW Auxiliary organization. or-ganization. On the agenda for discussion discus-sion will be Compensation and pension; Vietnam era Veterans; Hospitalization and new legislation for veterans and dependents. Saturday evening a buffet banquet is slated at which VFW national and council officials of-ficials will be heard. , Council meeting Is slated Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon a special gathering is slated to welcome Miss Mayberry, national auxiliary president and the concluding event will be a banquet in her honor that evening at 7 p.m. All VFW members in the southern Utah area have been extended an invitation to attend. at-tend.
