Show SUMMIT NEWS Mrs. Donna Davenport Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker hosted the young marrieds party Saturday evening at the Church where foods from foreign for-eign lands were enjoyed and games concluded the evening's activities. Present were Bishop Bis-hop and Mrs. Delos Dalton, Mr. and Mrs. Carlisle Hulet, Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Hollin-ger, Hollin-ger, Mr. and Mrs. Val Ellis, Mr. and Mrs. James Prince, Mr. and Mrs. Marc Allton, Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Morton, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rowley and Mrs. Denny Woodard. Mr. and Mrs.- Fred Whicker enjoyed a visit Friday from Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Palmer and sons, former neighbors in Tooele, who have moved to Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Don White of Mesquite, Nev. spent several days last week at their home here and visited with Mrs. Virgie Mickelson and Mrs. Helen Matheson. I Mr. and Mrs. Randy Crofts I and two daughters of Kanarra I were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Thompson. Mrs. Bill Divers left Friday for Los Angeles to spend ten days with her husband, who is employed there. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Williamson William-son and daughters Glenna and Jeanette Miles of Las Vegas spent the weekend here. Church Sunday evening where the young people of the ward enjoyed Book of Mormon slides shown by Kent Hulet of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley spent Saturday in St. George where they visited with the Howard Dalley home. The Walkers and Dalley enjoyed en-joyed recent visits from their daughters RoLayne Walker and Kathy Dalley, both of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Hum-pherys Hum-pherys returned home from Salt Lake City Thursday after Mr. Humpherys received further furth-er treatment. He will be confined con-fined to his bed far another four weeks. Dr. Stanley Dalley of Provo visited here one day last week I with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley. |
