Show Miss Rhonda Hinton 1970 Betty Crocker Homemaker at PHS Parowan High School Is happy to announce the winner win-ner of its 1970 Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow contest. con-test. Senior Rhonda Hinton received the honor on the basis ba-sis of her score In the home-making home-making knowledge and aptitude apti-tude test taken by senior girls Dec. 2. In addition to receiving a specially designed si 1 v e r charm from General Mills, sponsor of the annual home-making home-making education program, Miss Hinton is now eligible for one of the 102 scholarships, scholar-ships, totaling $110,000. Miss Hinton is a transfer student from an Arizona high school and is very active in many extra-curricular fields. Her mother is the former Mar-lena Mar-lena Mickelson, her father is Mr. Arvin Hinton, now serving serv-ing with the U. S. Army in Vietnam. Rhonda and her mother mo-ther are living here while waiting for her father to return re-turn to the states. Incidentally last week we reported that Miss Hinton had been awarded the honor of being one of two winners in the "most worthy student' contest held by Cedar City Elks Lodge No.. 1556. |
