Show NEWS FROM ENTERPRISE Mrs. Mae T. Hall Word came to Norval Bracken Brack-en Thursday, Jan. 29, of th.a leath of his brother, Vivian, in Henderson, Nev. Family members mem-bers attended services Monday Mon-day in Henderson. The J. P. ChrLstensens spent a we.sk recently in Kingman, Ariz. The trip was to join their family for the 50th wedding wed-ding anniversary. Friends and relatives from thr.se states joined with their five children child-ren to honor them at an open house. The Twitch-ell family gathered gath-ered Friday evening at the home of Grant Twitchell to honor him on his birthday. Sunday, Fob. 1, while Mr. and Mrs. S.eth (Ollie) Jones were in Cedar City, Ollie had the misfortune to fall and break her Leg. The break was so bad that it was necessary time. Mrs. Normand Hunt spent a few days visiting with relatives rela-tives in Ogdon. Mr. and Mrs. George Williams Wil-liams and children visted in LaVerkin last Thursday with George's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Williams, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Sher Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Winsor Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holt were in Las Vegas Sunday to see Robert Seaman before leaving on an LDS mission. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Harris were here from Atlanta Saturday Satur-day because of the death of Mrs. Harris's mother in Idaho. Word was received last week by Mrs. Hannah Bushar that she has another grandson, grand-son, born recently to her son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Ann Bushar of Las Vegas. Mrs. Bushar is visiting with her son and family. to take her to Salt Lake City for care. Brother and Sister Clifford Boyack, Regional Representatives Representa-tives of the Twelve Apostles of the LDS Church spent Feb. 1st here with President and Mrs. Grant Clove. They visited the local Indian Branch meetings meet-ings and checked on the progress pro-gress of the new church building build-ing in Newcastle. Mrs. Beulah Hunt Webster formerly of Santa Clara spent a day here visiting with Mrs. Gwendolyn Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lytle have taken Mrs. Ly tie's father, fa-ther, Seth Jones, to Las Vegas with them for an indefinite Mr. and Mrs. La von Jones and daughter spent the weekend week-end in Tempe, Ariz., with Mr. and Mrs. David Clove. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Pio-neers, Pilot Peak Camp, held their monthly meeting Friday. Fri-day. Deseret Bauer gave the history of her family, and the history of Israel Hoyt was read by Grace Twitchell. The annual banquet of the Washington County Farmj Bureau was held Saturday in Enterprise. Mr. and Mrs. James North were here from Provo Friday and Saturday visiting with Laurel's parents, Mr. and Mrs. I Ivin Holt and brother LaMar. i Mrs. Elda Farnsworth of Crawford, Colo., spent the weekend her.? with her broth- rr-in-law and sistr, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Farnsworth. Also at the Farnsworth home for a few days were Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Christenson of Farm-ington, Farm-ington, New Mexico. i |
