Show Flyers outlast Redmen 62-57 Cedar High School Redmen suffered their second defeat of the season Friday evening and it was. in addition to the second loss, moated out by the men attempted to get back in the game on the intentional foul and the Flyers took advantage ad-vantage to score on four straight charity torsos. Harvey McArthur popped one from outside to gain confidence con-fidence in the third period and he went on to score 11 points in the period to put the Flyers back in the game at the end , of the third period trailing by only two at 42-40. In the fourth period of play the Flyers held up under the pressure cf the close competition competi-tion and took advantage of Redmen mistakes and intentional inten-tional fouls in the last minute of play to move out to a lead and the victory. The five point margin at the end was the biggest for the Flyers in the entire game. Todd May connected on a 15 footer from the base line to knot the score at 50 all and West connected to give the Flyers their first lead since the opening period. Banaszynski came back with a pair of fouls to tie the score, West put the Flyers back in front with a bucket and Cosslett connected to again tie the score at 54-all with just 3:06 on the clock. A bucket by McArthur gave the lead back to the Flyers a lead thev held till th0 final blazzer. With 49 seconds remaining re-maining the Flyers still held a two point edge at 58-56.
