At-kin At-kin will be the speakers Tuesday, Tues-day, Feb. 9 at 12 noon at the weekly forum presented by the LDS Institute of Religion at Southern Utah State College. Col-lege. Public Is invited to attend. ' Bro. Atkin has just recently been released after serving seven and one-half years as president of the St. George LDS Temple. Bro. and Sister Atkin will discuss "For Time and Eternity Etern-ity - Making the Right Choice." The Atkins have a wide background in church service In addition to his assignment as Temple president he rerved as Stake president of the St. George and St. George East Stakes and also served a mission mis-sion for the church in Eng- land. Both Bro. and Sister Atkin were born and raised in St. George and attended schools there. Atkin has been engaged in the ranching and restaurant business and also served six years as a county commissioner commission-er and 20 years on the Washington Wash-ington County Draft Board. A housewife and mother. Sister Atkin has also been active ac-tive in church and community affairs. |
