Wilder in St. George Temple LDS Business College in Salt Lake City and she is now an employee of the Newspaper Agency, working with Church News subscriptions in Salt Lake City. The bridegroom is, a high school graduate, is a returned missionary from the South African Mission and is presently attending University of Utah, maioring in elementary elemen-tary education. The bride has been hosted at showers given by members of her wedding party, a personal per-sonal shower by Mrs. Leslie Jones, a miscellaneous-spice shower by Mrs. Douglas Os-born; Os-born; a kitchen shower by i Linda, Cheryl and Gayle Wil- Miss Margaret Hulet, former form-er Parowan girl, now living in Salt Lake City, became the bride of Mr. Russell E. Wilder also of Salt Lake City in marriage mar-riage rites which took place Sept. 17 in the St. George LDS Temple. Andrew O. McArthur of the Temple presidency officiated offi-ciated in the double ring ceremony. The bride Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rupert S. Hulet of Parowan and the bride-.room bride-.room is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard L. Wilder of Salt Lake 'Jity. That evening the newly-weds newly-weds were honored at a reception re-ception in the Third Ward Cultural Hall here, hosted by the parents cf the bride. For this event the bride was attired at-tired in floor-length gown of white bridal satin covered with white merimist, trimmed in white appliqued lace and styled with a train. Her shoulder-length veil was of lace and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and red rose buds. Attending the bride as matron ma-tron of honor was Mrs. Leslie Jones of Cedar City and the bridesmaids were Mrs. E. Douglas Osborn, Miss Linda Wilder, Mrs. Cheryl Wilder and Miss Gayle Wilder, all of Salt Lake City, pier waist lines der, a grocery shower by Mrs. J. II. Henderson, and a tup-pcrwaare tup-pcrwaare shower by roommates room-mates Deena Dixon, Marva Mounteor and Pat St inc. An open house was held in Salt Lake City on Saturday evening Sept. IS, with the same wedding party. P Four grandmothers wore in attendance at the wedding: Ieah Jones, Draper; Sara S. Hulet. Parowan; Mrs. Barnarr and Mrs. Wilder from Wellington, Welling-ton, Utah. Assisting with the refreshments refresh-ments were Mrs. Claude Hulet, Hu-let, Mrs. Joss Mickelson, Mrs. Gordon Jones, Klea Abbott, Jenna Dean Whitney, Judy Halterman and Linda Morris. At the gift table wore the roommates of the bride, Marva Mar-va Mounteor, of Escalante, Utah and Deena Dixon of Jerome, Jer-ome, Idaho. The attendants drosses were of green cotton polyester with green meri-mist ever empire waist style, floor-length, and carried white long stemmed carnations. Standing as best man for the bridegroom was his brother, broth-er, Larrv Wilder, and ushers were Elliot J. Hulet, Leslie J. ! Hulet, brothers of the bride;, Bruce Jones, West Jordan and j Bud Arnold , Salt Lake Citv. The mothers of the bridal pair wore green crepe, empire waist style, floor length dresses dres-ses and corsages of while roses ros-es and red rosebuds. For her going away outfit the bride wore a powder blue, double-knit, three-piecp suit, and their honeymoon was a one-week trip to Cardston, Canada. The bride is a graduate of - I'arowan High School and the |
