Show Music Arts Committee ready for season opener The Cedar City Music Arts season ticket sales campaign ends this week with committee commit-tee members working hard to contact all area residents. , Widespread support of the Music Arts Committee is needed need-ed , according to Chairman Mary MacDonald, in ord.3r to meet budget requirements for the five performances planned plan-ned this season. The season will cpen October Octo-ber 15 with Maestro Maurice Abravanel conducting the Utah Symphony. November will bring Reed Nibley, pianist, in a recital of contemporary piano works. German Hans Karl Schade will appear early in February, Ballet West in March and vio-linH: vio-linH: Tossy Spivakovsky in April. I Prospective season ticket purchasers are urged to contact con-tact any Music Arts Committee Commit-tee member or call 586-8929 or 586-9736 to obtain tickets. Tickets may also be purchased pur-chased at Berrett Music or Hunter Hardware. Season ticket tic-ket price is $7.00 for the five j performance series. |
