Show Parowan Stake gets high council changes a! Sunday general session of conference At a well attended quarterly quarter-ly conference session on Sunday Sun-day morning, members of Par-wan Par-wan Slake voted to release, with a vote of thanks, two members of the Parowan Stake High Council, and then sustained sus-tained two new members of that group. According to Boyd Mitchell, stake clerk, official i attendance was 733, or 3-1 ! of the stake membership. Given releases from the high council were M. Howard Ward, who with Mrs. Ward, are now serving on a special assignment for the Church in the Samoan Islands; and Albert Al-bert Felstead, released because of his health. Sustained in their place were Kenneth Topham, Sr., of the Paragonah Ward and J. Henry Grimshaw of the Enoch Ward. Elder Topham has been a group leader and member of the presidency of the Parowan Paro-wan Stake Seventies unit for many years. Elder Grimshaw has served his ward as bish-or bish-or for several years recently- In other business at the session Topham was made a high priest, as were Wm. Roy Benson and Wm. Glen Farr, who were made counselors in the Third Ward bishopric three weeks ago. Advanced to the office of elders were Al- lan Eoyd Robinson, Paragonah jWard; Lawrence Burton and 1 Larry Van Ausdal of Parowan j Third, and Michael Worthen of i Parowan Second Ward.
