Show Forest Service will reseed 1200 acres of deer herd range Approximately 1200 acres of Pinyon-Junipor and sagebrush in Cottonwood Canyon and Mineral Canyon drainages will bo double chained and re-seeded re-seeded this fall. The project is designed to Improve watershed conditions and increase forage production produc-tion for wildlife and livestock. The project area is within important im-portant deer winter range on the Parowan deer herd. It b also part of the Cottonwood Carry Sheep Allotment. Past overuse by deer livestock live-stock coupled with the increase in-crease of pinyon and juniper, has left the area without adequate ade-quate ground protection and forage. The project is located in sections 31, 32, and 33, Town- for the above described areas. The posts must be obtained for personal use. There is a limit of 200 posts per person.
