Show Parowan Schools summer music program well under way; enrollment growing The Parownn School's summer sum-mer music program Is well under way and has the beginnings of being the best summer program yet, announces an-nounces Parowan's director, John Talcott. The student enrollment Is higher than expected for the first two weeks, but the program's pro-gram's goal Is to double that figure before the summer is through. There has been a need to change the schedule somewhat some-what owing to enrollment numbers in certain classes and to reduce conflicts with other summer activities. The new schedule is: Beginner's Be-ginner's band, Monday, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, and Friday at 1 p. m-; fifth and sixth grade band, Monday, Wednesday and Friday Fri-day at 2 p. m.; and marching band, for grades seven thru 12, Tuesday and Thursday at 4 p. m. and Wednesday at 7 p. m. Also during the mornings every day, students can take advantage of free private instruction in-struction or help in small ensemble en-semble groups. All summer students are reminded that there is a $1.00 enrollment fee charged by the district for -any of these activities. If you have any questions concerning the summer music program, please contact Mr. Talcott at 477-3732 or 477-3587. |
