Show Cedar Elks, Ladies participate in state convention Several Odar City couples attended the State Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks convention held in Ogden, June 19, 20 and 21. Business and social meetings meet-ings were attended by both the men and women. Grand Exalted Ruler Frank Hise gave an impressive talk on Amer-canism Amer-canism at the final banquet. Highlight for the ladies was the luncheon Saturday after noon at which Mrs. J. V. Adams turned over the gavel ; of State President of the Utah I Ladies of Elks after a very successful year. Mrs. J. D. Dockstdder has also been sec-! retary of the state association J for the past year.
