Show Clark grandson wins So. Nevada baseball contest Mrs, Violet R. Clark of Parowan Par-owan announces that her grandson, Darrel Clark, age 11, was winner in the Southern South-ern Nevada "pitch, hit and throw" baseball contest. Representing Repre-senting Phillips 66, sponsor of the contest, Darrel with three other boys won the right to move on to Phoenix, Ariz for the national contest. He again won the trophy there. He is now quite popular with his team in Henderson, Nev. at this time. He is a son of Gene and Colleen L. Clark of that Clark also has had several members of her family fam-ily here for visits recently. Iris and Cline Neilson were visitors at her home over the week end, also her grandson Clark Neilson and wife. Other visitors were her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle R. .Clark who were re- turning from an enjoyable trip to Mexico.. Mrs. Clark and the Neilsons enjoyed a trip to the Mammoth Mam-moth Estates Valleys and the Meadow Valley Estates in Kane County. The Neilsons returned to their home in Henderson Hen-derson Sunday, the Clark Neilsons Neil-sons to Cedar City where he is attending summer school and working at Zion Photo, and the Doyle Clarks returned to their home in Salt Lake on Monday afternoon. |
