Show Mrs. Ray Juvelin to attend conference at Cheyenne, Vyo. When the Mountain Plains Federal Regional Council holds its first annual State-Federal State-Federal conference, at Cheyenne, Chey-enne, Wyo. May 12 through 14, Mrs. Ray Juvelin of Cedar Ce-dar City will Ibe In attendance representing the Utah League of Women Voters. This conference is co-sponsored co-sponsored by the Federation of Rocky Mountain States and the Mountain Plains Federal Fed-eral Regional Council. The purpose Is to convene the top leadership of State, Federal, and local officials representing represent-ing 'both public and private interests in order to study methods by which governmental govern-mental functions can be cooperatively co-operatively planned, evaluated, evaluat-ed, and revitalized effective-ly. effective-ly. The general thrust of the Conference will be to examine exam-ine common problem areas and explore a variety of appropriate ap-propriate actions to solve those existing problems. The complexities of intra and inter-governmental relations will be aired widely, particularly partic-ularly as they may be influenced influ-enced by Federal requirements require-ments and operations. The conference is limited to fewer than 125 invitees from Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota. Utah, and the host state, Wyoming. |
