Show i Former Resident dies in Hawaii i srson, New Jersy; a daughter, Marie Harris, Brae, Calif., and six grandchildren. Mrs. Peterson expects to join her daughter in California, and hopes to come to Cedar City and St. George soon to visit friends and relatives. Word was received here from Honolulu, Hawaii, of the sudden death of Henry E. "Pete" Peterson, former prominent prom-inent business and civic leader lead-er of Cedar City. Mr. Peterson died at his home in Honolulu on Feb. 10 from a heart ailment. He had suffered a coronary a few months ago, it is understood, but had been back at work for some time. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted at Honolulu and burial was in Hawaii. Mr. Peterson operated Peter, son Drug Store in Cedar City for many years, and during his stay here was very active in civic affairs, having served serv-ed as president of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce, and served actively in many capacities in the Cedar City Rotary Club. He was aLso an officer in the Utah National Guard. He left Cedar City about 30 years ago to enter the drug business in Honolulu, and had resided there since. He is survived by his widow, the former Amanda Pace of St. George; a son, Henry Pet- |
