Show Instructors listed for stake Education Day Three prominent educators from the faculty of Brigham Young University will be on hand to instruct the classes and topics which will be treated treat-ed on Parowan Stake Education Educa-tion Day, it is announced by J. Frank Dalley, member of the Parowan Stake High Council, Coun-cil, who is acting as local chairman for the event. The Education day is set for Saturday, March 14 beginning at 12:30 p. m.. It will be held in the Parowan Third Ward chapel, and charges will be $5.00 for families. $2.00 for individuals in-dividuals and $1.00 for children. chil-dren. Faculty members will include in-clude the following men: Elmer Knowles Received his Ph. D. in Child Development Develop-ment and family relations and marriage counseling from Cornel Cor-nel University in 1952. He was head of the family relations department at Texas Technological Tech-nological College from 1958 to 1962 and is presently a professor pro-fessor in the department of family life education Dr. Knowles has served as bishop of the Edgemone Third Ward in Provo and he and his wife are presently M-Men and Gleaner leaders in that stake. Lynn McKinley joined the BYU faculty in 1955 as an assistant professor of speech. I Prior to this time he had been with KSL radio as an an-nounccer an-nounccer and actor. He has been a bishop and a member of a high council, director of many Church history tours, and author of many Church publications. His publications, "Life Eternal", "The Spirit Giveth Life", and "For Behold Ye Are Free" are worthy contributions con-tributions to LDS Church reading read-ing materials. Charles Woodworth received re-ceived his B.S. degree from BYU in 1954, his M.S. degree from the University of Utah in 1959, and his Ph. D. from BYU in 1965. Before accepting the position of counselor in the Counseling Service department depart-ment at BYU, he was the coordinator co-ordinator of the Juvenile Delinquency De-linquency Training course for the department of health and welfare in Miami, Fla. At present he is M-Men leader for the Edgemont Third Ward in Trovo. |
