Show Red Cross starts home nursingprogram A Hom.e Nursing Instructor Program is currently underway under-way at the Cedar City Library under the direction of the Iron County Red Cross Chapter. Monday, 30 women, recruited recruit-ed from the LDS Relief Society Socie-ty Wards in the area, began the program under the direction direc-tion of Mary Clark, who is Regional Re-gional Nursing Consultant for the American National Red Cross. The 15 hours of instruction ' will be completed Friday. As services for 1970 were be-gun be-gun under the direction of the newly organized Chapter, James E. Chapman, Chapter Chairman reported the following follow-ing tally of services rendered by the Iron County Chapter in 1968-69. ? Over 200 Red Cross Volunteer Volun-teer Workers gave several thousand hours in service to the County, and $550.00 was spent in Disaster Rehabilitation Rehabilita-tion Services. Mr. Chapman complimented Chapter workers for their efforts ef-forts in serving the residents of Iron County. Mr. Chapman pointed out that due to Iron County's participation in the Blood Bank Program, residents of said county may receive free Red Cross Blood anywhere in the United States.
