Irli ij.jrJ. jrir-.ullu-iiif.:! 1,, Betty Jean Bulloch And Stanley Slack Take Wedding Vows Miss Betty Jean Bulloch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hen-ry McConnell Bulloch, Cedar City, was united In marriage with Stanley Maxwell Slack, son of Mrs. Fay Maxwell Slack, also of Cedar City, on May 18. Bishop Klien Rollo officiated officiat-ed at the double ring ceremony cere-mony at the First Ward Chapel. Prior to the ceremony President James Heywood opened op-ened with prayer, and then Tamara Higbee sang "You're My World", accompanied by Pamela Orton. The stage was set for the wedding ceremony with Carol Lee Wyatt giving the "Bride's Prayer" with background music mus-ic by Rebecca Pearson "Whither "Whith-er Thou Goest" was sung by Laurel S. Matheson, accompanied accom-panied by Pamela Orton, and then the bride came down the aisle as Rebecca Pearson played play-ed the wedding march. Miss Pearson also furnished the organ or-gan music. Later that same evening the MR. AND MRS. STANLEY M." SLACK newlyweds were honored at a reception in the First Ward Cultural Hall. The bride wore a cage style dress of net and chiffon with lace inserts over peau de soie. The matching training and skirt were trimmed with satin around the bottom. The shoulder length veil and bouquet, bou-quet, which was a cluster of large cattleya white orchids with stephanotis, completed the bridal picture. Mrs. Keith Lasson, sister of the bride, stood as matron of honor in a lime green net over a brighter green taffeta in the same style as the wedding wed-ding dress. Her flowers were white cumbidium orchids with feathered carnations. Flower girls, Misses Brenda and Donna Jean Bulloch, who were nieces of the bride, wore the same "lime green riet over turquoise taffeta. Theliallloor-length Theliallloor-length gowns were alsd 1 in a cage style. They had white carnation with yellow ribbons. Best man was Paul Douglas, Doug-las, and the ushers were brothers bro-thers of the bridegroom, Rodney Rod-ney and Douglas Slack, and Keith Lasson. Mrs. Bulloch wore a green bonded crepe formal accented with blue sequins. Mrs. Slack wore a turquoise bonded crepe formal with matching lace jacket. Both mothers had a white orchid with stephanotis. Greeting the guests at the door were the bride's brothers, Scott and Matt Bulloch. Honored guests who were part of the wedding party were Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Miller Mil-ler and Mrs. Barbara M. Adams, Parowan and Mrs. Rebecca Re-becca Matheson, Cedar City. Mrs. Paul Douglas and Mrs. Rodger Murie were at the guest book, and those in the gift room were Mrs. Douglas iacK, ivirs. uougias Mcivnigru, Mrs. Matt Bulloch and Mrs. Scott Bulloch. Presiding at the punch bowl were Mrs. Sid Porter, Mrs. El-win El-win Armstrong, Mrs. Clifford Knight, and Mrs. Floyd Matheson. Ma-theson. Mary Kay Matheson, Shan-na Shan-na Nelson, Kay Bulloch, Paul-ette Paul-ette Matheson, and Joan Wool-sey Wool-sey served refreshments. The bride's going away costume cos-tume was a navy blue crepe princess style dress with white lace train. The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Las Vegas, Nev., before returning to Cedar City to make their home. The bride Is a graduate of Cedar High School and Darrell Beauty College. She then operated oper-ated Dean's Hah Styling Salon Sa-lon in Midvale, Utah before returning to Cedar City. The bridegroom is a graduate grad-uate of Cedar High School and has since been employed at Lunt Heywoods. Among pre-nuptial courtesies courtes-ies extended to the young couple were Miscellaneous Showers given by Mrs. Murie, Mrs. Paul Douglas and Mrs. Keith Lasson in Cedar City. Mrs. Ernie Kadell, Midvale al-so al-so gave the bride a shower. Mrs. Fay Slack, mother of the bridegroom, entertained 20 guests at a buffett supper on May IT. |
