Show l ; ; : : i Two File for State School Board Two candidates for ths District Dis-trict Five representative to the Utah State Board of Education Educa-tion were announced this past week. District Five represents the ! counties of Washington, Iron, Beaver, Millard, and Juab. j Named were Dr. Eugene T. Woolf of Cedar City and Neal Lundberg, St. George. ; Dr. Woolf is dean of the I School of Arts and Letters at College of Southern Utah and has been a member of the Iron County School Board for the past eight years. He is also a Lieutenant Colonel in j the Utah National Guard, Incumbent member on the Board of Education from District Dis-trict Five is L. Leon Jennings, St. George, who was not a candidate for reelection. Nominations still may be made by petition. The petition must be signed by not less than 100 qualified and registered electors of the district and must be filed with the Secretary of State not later than June 26. If no nominations are mad? by petition, Woolf and Lundberg Lund-berg will appear on the November Nov-ember general election ballot. bal-lot. Both men were nominated for the position at a nomination nomina-tion meeting held in Cedar City.
