Show Supervisors Observe Science Program Dr. Gwyn Clark and Profes-1 sor Eugene Holman of the College of Southern Utah School of Education accompanied accom-panied nine other members of the Southern Utah Supervisors Association to Berkeley, Calif. May 6 and 7 for a study of the elementary science curriculum curricu-lum improvement project currently cur-rently under development by the University of California. Some 30-40 UC scientists and administrators and elementary ele-mentary school teachers in Berkeley area are cooperating to bring a more meaningful and realistic science program to children in grades one through six. The project is funded through the National Science Foundation. Four schools in the Berkeley Berke-ley area testing the units developed de-veloped at UC are LeConte, i Laonetta, wasningion, anu Emerson Elementary Schools. The Utah group visited vari-ous vari-ous grade levels in each school. In addition to Dr. Clark and Prof. Holman, who are president presi-dent and secretary, respectively, respective-ly, of the Southern Utah Supervisors, Su-pervisors, members of the visiting vis-iting group participating in the study trip were Linda Lar-sen, Lar-sen, supervisor of Washington County schools; Lazell Borg, supervisor, Millard County; Max Dalley and Claudia For-' For-' syth, curriculum coordinators, Iron County; Delbert Francom, supervisor, Beaver; Elliott Arnoldson, curriculum direct-t direct-t or, North Sanpete; Lillian , Fjeldsted, supervisor, South Sanpete; Mary S.
