Show Women Voters To Study Proposals For Amendments The League of Women Voters Vot-ers will study the five proposals pro-posals for constitutional amendment that will appear on the ballot this Fall. Spokesmen for opposing views on some of the proposals pro-posals have been Invited to; participate in the discussions. ' A consensus will be taken after af-ter the meeting, and the results re-sults will be sent to the State Board to aid the League in arriving at a position on the various proposals. Two of the proposals - annual an-nual sessions of the legisla- t i ture and increased pay for legislators -- are already sup- i ported by the League of Wo- men Voters of Utah, having been studied two years ago j when they first appeared before be-fore the electorate. t The meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Ray Ju- ivelin, 69 South 700 West at 8 p. m. Thursday, May 23. |
