Paragonah Student Receives Womanhood Award With one of the largest classes clas-ses in its history receiving diplomas, di-plomas, the Parowan LDS Seminary held its annual graduation exercises last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. A class of 40 third year and 21 fourth year students, received diplomas at the hande of D. Watson Adams of teh stake presidency. presi-dency. Seminary Principal Ernest Er-nest Ahlborn, was in charge of the program. An audience which filled the Third Ward chapel to capacity ca-pacity enjoyed a program of talks from special speakers as well as special numbers. An important feature of the program was the presentation of the Barbara M. Adams "Womanhood "Wo-manhood Award." This year award, which was presented Miss Judy Talbot, a member of the fourth year group was selected as the recipient of the award, which was presentd by the donor. Miss Talbot is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot of Paragonah. She has also been selected as an honor student at Parowan High School and will be a speaker at' next Tuesday's commencement exercises of the school. |
