Show Funeral Services Held Tuesday for Nettie Flanigan Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Cedar Fourth Ward Chapel for Sarah Jean-ette Jean-ette (Nettie) Walker Flanigan, Flani-gan, 61, who died Saturday, May 18 of a heart ailment at the homo of her daughter in Cedar City. Speaker at the services was Charles R. Hunter with a tribute tri-bute given by Althea Bown, a member of the MBW Club, an organization to which Mrs. Flanigan belonged. J - - m 1 tion was by Edwin Leigh. The benediction was by Richard Nelson and the grave at the Cedar City cemetery was dedi-cated dedi-cated by Grant Hunter. Conducting Con-ducting was Bp. DeVon Reeves and the prelude and postlude music was by Reed Berrett. In addition to being a member mem-ber of the MBW Club, Mrs. Flanigan was a member of the LDS Church and she was an employee of the Utah Parks Company. She was born on November Novem-ber 11, 1903 in Cedar City to John Edwin and Nancy Chat-terley Chat-terley Walker. She married Wallace A. Flanigan Nov. 23, 1923 in Cedar City. He died Sept. 10, 1960. Survivors Include sons and daughters: Wallace D., Mrs. Frank (Jeanette) Berrett, both of Cedar City; Mrs. Glen (Phyllis) Gill, G. Murray, oth Salt Lake City; W. Glade, Seattle, Wash. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and a brother and sister, J. Erwin Walker and Mrs. Elias (Alene) Leigh, both of Cedar City. |
