Show Auxiliary Ladies Announce Poppy Day Plans Mrs. Mable Wilcock, chairman chair-man of the committee in conducting con-ducting the annual Poppy Day drive in Parowan and Paragonah; Para-gonah; announces that the drive will take place on Saturday, Sat-urday, May 25, and that during dur-ing the day all homes and business places in the area will be visited by Auxiliary workers. A proclamation , published on this page last week, over the signature of Parowan City's Ci-ty's mayor, proclaimed Saturday Satur-day ag Poppy Day for 1968, and Mrs. Wilcock urges all residents to respond to the call of the volunteer soloci-tors. soloci-tors. The Auxiliary also extends its thanks to the students of the elementary school for the many fine posters made there for the event. The prize winning win-ning posters were made by Jo-lene Jo-lene Mitchell, Jacky Jones, Andy Day and Mary Jane Hal-terman, Hal-terman, and these students will received their prizes at the awards assembly on Friday. |
