Show Summer Stock Play To Be Presented At Springdalejune 22 "Lilacs in the Rain," a spark, ling three act comedy, direct from the West Coast, will open in "Grandma's Old Barn Theater," Thea-ter," Springdale, Saturday, June 22, and with the exception of Sunday, play through Saturday, June 29. This same cast played "Lilacs in the Kain" for a five week run at the Glendale Center Theater, during which time the play was purchased by Samuel French and Company. Nathan and Ruth Hale, authors auth-ors of this play are well known throughout the Church as authors auth-ors of several winning M I 'A plays, and also authors and producers pro-ducers of several movies includ ing "Oliver Cowdery' ana "fast Day." The Hales, along with three of their daughters appear in this play. Norma Dellaan and Clark L'-Amoreaux L'-Amoreaux play the romantic leads. Both have appeared in many stage productions. Miss Dellaan, an accomplished dancer, danc-er, has toured America and has been featured in such places as The Dunes and other Las Vegas gas night spots. For years summer barn theaters thea-ters on the East Coast have been most successful, but no more beautiful setting could be found for such a theater any where In America than Grandma's Barn, located In the mouth of Zion Canyon.
