Show Wedding Bells Ring For Schmutz-Keeley; Fete Honors Couple Miss Beverly Keeley and Lt. Charles A. Schmutz exchanged marriage vows Friday morning In a Salt Lake LDS Temple ceremony cere-mony with El Rey L. Christian-sen Christian-sen officiating. Immerlately afterwards, par-ents par-ents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew G. Schmutz, New Harmony, Har-mony, honored the couple at a wedding breakfast at Hotel Utah. That evening the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alferd C. Keeley, Salt Lake City, were hosts at a reception held at the Delta Delta Delta sorority home. The bride's wedding gown was fashioned of nylon tulle and chantilly lace. The floor length lace paneled skirt was topped with a basque bodice of lace, accented ac-cented with sequins and detailed with a Sabrina neckline and tiny sleeves. Her finger-tip veil fell from a fitted cap of lace and ' pleated nylon tulle trimmed with pearls and sequins. She car. rled a white orchid encircled with stephanotis. A reception given by the bridegroom's bride-groom's parents was held at the New Harmony recreation hall on Saturday, June 15. The bride's attendants, wearing pastel green polished coton street length dres-ses dres-ses were, Mrs. B. Grant Pugh, the bride's sister, matron of honor; Miss Jolene Keeley, another sister; sis-ter; and Miss Eileen Osmond. They carried baskets filled with yellow and white dasies and carnations. car-nations. Acting a bet man for the benedict was Jene Car, and ushers ush-ers were Arthur B. Keeley, the bride's brother, and Karl Wool-sey, Wool-sey, the bridegroom's uncle. The new Mrs. Schmutz chose a beige and white stripped suit with matching hat and black pa-' tent accessories for her honey-! moon trip. The newlyweds will visit Las Vegas and Carmel before be-fore making a temporary home In Sacramento. Calif., where Lt. Schmutz is stationed with the U. j S. Air Force. I In October they will leave for Europe to make their home for one year. The bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Donald M. Terry and children, Donnie and Teresa of Palo Alto, Calif., came for the wedding and are spending a week with Mr. i and Mrs. Andrew G. Schmutz. |
