During the meeting, held at department headquarters In Salt Lake City, plans were laid for both county and state level committees com-mittees to study the trespass and other problems relating to the use of private farm lands by hunters. The committees will then make recommendations for consideration by the Utah Fish and Game Commission before the annual regulations are set covering the upland game bird hunts. Both county and state committees commit-tees will be made up of chosen delegates from the organized agriculturists, ag-riculturists, sportsmen and department de-partment field men. Studies and recommendations will be passed by these county committees to a state group from the same organizations organ-izations where they will be con-soildated con-soildated and presented to the commission for that body's con-sideration con-sideration In setting 'he game bird seasons. Delegates at the meeting agreed that much could be done to correct the abuse of private; property whh reaches a high point during the annual game' i bird seasons. All Wire agreed jthat the agriculturist, who sup- ' plies the major portion of the land, the food and the habitat for, these bird hunts, must be given voice and consideration In set-1 i tig regulations for them. Immediate formation of the county committees and recom-j mendations for the fall game j bird hunts by the July 19 meet-ilng meet-ilng of the fish and game eom-i mission was forecast by the lead- j ers present. Also projected prior to the next meeting of the state legislature was a study of the possible need for more realistic trespass laws and other measures requiring legislative action.
