Selected Se-lected as Royalty to lead the annual min- 1 iature parade on July 4, sponsored by the Lady Lions Club, are these four beautiful children., The King is Monty Bradshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claron Bradshaw, and the Queen Is Cynthia Thorley,- daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Thorley. Attendant to the queen is Gayleen Waymen, daughter daugh-ter of Mr.' and Mrs. Von Waymen, and a- tendant to the king Is Kim Hunter, son c f Mr. and Mrs. Hate Hunter. The four winners, win-ners, to ride on the royalty float and lead the parade, were selected from 80 chil dren who competed for the honor. Theme of the parade will be "Summer Time," and as usual there will be three divisions, Theme, Nursery Rhymes and Patriotic, with first and second prizes in each division, divi-sion, and a grand prize for the best float In the rarade. In addition first and second prizes will be Riven for the best decorated decorat-ed bicycles, and for the best decorated tricycles and doll buggies. Each child who participates In the parade will receive re-ceive a treat and either a swim or show ticket, whichever the participant desires. The parade will start promptly at 9 a. m. |
