I Pneumonia Claims Eugene Davenport, 59 . Eugene Davenport, 59, native of Paragonah, died in Cedar City Monday, Sept. 26, of pneumonra. Funeral services will be held in Paragonah this afternoon (Thursday) and burial will be In the Paragonah cemetery. . Mr. Davenport was born In Paragonah on Oct 3, 1900, a son of James Burrows and Matilda Jane Barton Davenport. He received re-ceived his schooling in Paragonah Para-gonah and In 1925 moved to Price and later to Salt Lake City where for many years he made his home with his sister, , Mrs. Maude Woods. For 25 years he was employed by the American Asphalt Co. but several years a he became disabled because of silica sand in bis lungs. Since that time he has made his home in Paragonah and Parowan. , He Is survived by one sister and four brothers, Mrs. Delia Marsden, Parowan; Ray and Bert Davenport, Salt Lake City, and William T. and Lewis Davenport, Paragonah.
