Show i BPW Club Members Meet Sister Clubs These are busy days for Cedar City Business and Professional Women. On Sunday 15 members drove to' rioche, Nev. to participate partici-pate in rioche Club's Hospitality meeting. They assembled at Castleton Guest House for a get-acquainted hour after which Helen Bausch, president of the Pioche Club and her committee chairman, Virginia Lickan lnvit-l ed all to a Chinese dinner. Mrs. Wah, the hostess, served a de- licious eight-course dinner. It was a gay and delightful affair. Wednesday found 18 members of the Cedar City Club joining with the St. George BPW at a dinner meeting at D-tftwood Lodge, Sprindale. The purpose of the meeting was to renew old acquaintances and meet the new members of both clubs. Cedar president, Edna Sargent, and Nettle Morris, vice-director, put on a skit announcing the District (meeting to be held In Cedar City October 9 at Sullivan's Cafe. St. George president, Dorothy Wldic and committee members Nora Pointer, Elsa Ruesch, and Mrs. Brockmeler were in charge of the meeting. Cedar City Public Affairs meeting meet-ing will be held September 28 at Sullivan's Cafe. |
