Show j Iron County Teachers Will Demonstrate Methods at Confab Iron County School will be well represented at the convention conven-tion held In Salt Lake City Sept. 29, 30 and Oct 1. A display of the reading-writing program of Iron County will be presented at South High School today, Sept. 29. This display will include all types of reading and writing materials ma-terials used in the Iron County program. Thursday a program concerning concern-ing the Social Studies was presented pre-sented at the new Hyland High School by members of the North Elementary School faculty. This program included an intensive look at a sixth grade unit of work carried on in the school last year. Principal Oscar J. Hu-let, Hu-let, and Dee 1 Stapley, sixth grade teacher, were responsible for the presentation. According to Thomas J. Abpla-nalp, Abpla-nalp, curriculum coordinator for Iron County, he is very happy to participate In the state convention conven-tion program for he feels that this is a definite recognition of the fine work being done by the teachers of the Iron County schools. |
