Show Advancements Made To Scouts at December Honor Court The monthly Court of Honot for the Boy Scouts of the Brian Head District, was held Sunday evening, Dec. 27 In the Enoch Ward Chapel with W. Clair Row ley, district advancement chair man, conducting. Following the opening cere monies, which were conducted by the Enoch Troop No. 336, the following advancements were made: Gary Dee Wilcken of Troop 336 was advanced to a Second Class Scout. Mike Dalton and Craig Rowley Row-ley of Troop No. 349, Parowan Second Ward, were advanced to Second Class Scouts. From Troop 313, Third Ward. Jud Hendrickson received a Gold Palm, Larry Day and Ronald Johnson were advanced to Star Scout, Roy Barton to Life Scout. 3-y RRowley was advansed to first class rank and George Allen Loosley was advanced to second class rank. In addition, a total of 24 merit badges were awarded to S( outs of the Brian Head District; a trophy of $3.00 was presented to Parowan First Ward Troop N" 311 lor winning honors at tin-past tin-past three honor courts, and the Third Ward Troon 3-13 wiis ad judged winner of the honors at the December court, whL'h start ed a new contest among troops of the district. The January Court of llono'-will llono'-will be held in tne Third Ward chapel on Sundav, Jan 21, with I Troop 3-13 conducting opening and closing ceremonies. |
