Show ASC Elections Rename 1 Boyd Christensen As Chairman for 1965 I Farmers recently elected to serve as the Agricultual Stabilization Stabili-zation and Conservation (ASC) County Committee for the following follow-ing year Include: Boyd Christensen, Christen-sen, of New Castle, Utah, was reelected re-elected as Chairman, Cressel Sherratt, of Cedar City, was reelected re-elected as vice chairman, and Arlo Holyoak, of Parowan, elect- ed as regular member. Elected j to serve as first and second alternates al-ternates were Harvey Adams and : Richard Jones. j The election was held at a county convention at the Iron ,ASCS County Office. Electors were farmers chosen as convention conven-tion delegates at recent ASC community com-munity committee elections in the county. : Chairman Christensen points ; out that the ASC county and community farmer - committees are in charge of local administration adminis-tration of such national farm programs as the Agricultural Conservation Program, the feed grain program, the voluntary wheat program, acreage allotments allot-ments and marketing quotas, the I National Wool Program, the Su-I Su-I gar Program, commodity loans, j and storage facility loans. The ASC county office at Cedar i City Is headquarters for the coun- ty committee, and serves as the farmers' local contact for business busi-ness connected with participation in the programs administered by the committees. |
