Show Christmas Lighting Winners ilnnounccd byCofC Tho many bonu'iful displays of Christmas lighting in tin Pare-wan Pare-wan area made judging this year's contest very difficult. Af ter much deliberation judges for the Parowan Chamber of Com merct awarded the prizes lo the following homes: First prize, Mrs. Artell Rasmus sen; second prize, Mr. and Mrs. Klmcr Buffington, and third ptie to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stubbs. The judges felt that these people not only had veiy effective lighting but had more or less built tin ir lighting around a theme. The judges also felt that honorable hon-orable mention should go to Clarence Clar-ence Pendleton for the additions which he has made to his dis play this year, also to Morris Has mussen, Don C. Uwdei and Mr. and Mr. Rulan Dalton, as well as Mrs. Melva Barton and Mi and Mrs. Ivan Robb. in Paragonah. Para-gonah. It would be impossible to men tion everyone wiio participated in the lighting contest or who had displays of Christmas lights i:i and around their homes The organization or-ganization would like to extend its thanks to all who took time to arrange lighting and invite all residents to ride around the city at night to view the displays themselves. An expression of appreciation ahould also fro to the the Parogen Paro-gen Lions Club and parowan City for the fine Main Street lights of this holiday season, and to the ladies at the Bank of Iron County for the line display at that institution. They all have helped to make our city moiv attracti.e during the Holiday season. |
