Show NEWS FROM KMARRAVILLE Mrs. Carina Williams Mr. and Mrs. Clair Woodbury of Las Vegas spent several days visiting with their mother, Ar-villa Ar-villa Woodbury. Also spending the week end with Mrs. Woodbury Wood-bury were her daughter and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Denor Pollock and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin LeFevre and son of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Gus I'ingel and Mrs. Mae Rowe of Las Vegas spent a few days in town visiting visit-ing some of their old friends and relatives. Val Davis and Clarence Hawkins Haw-kins escorted the boy scouts on a two-day outing at Kolob Reservoir. Reser-voir. Enjoying the trip were Bruce and Tony Cornelius, David Btikstead, Jimmie Davis, John Batty, Jerry Olds and Joseph and Jeffrey Williams. Mrs. Leah Boardman of Para-gonah, Para-gonah, Mrs. Helen Brooks and two children of Commerce, Calif., visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson. Mrs. Brooks plans to spend a few weeks here taking care of her mother who has just returned from the hospital following a heart attack. Scott Btrry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Berry, reported to Salt Lake City last week to take his physical for rthe selective service. Visitors here from Elko with them. Mrs. Francis Williams spent the day in Cedar City visiting with her daughter, LaDene Walker, Wal-ker, and girls, Suzie, Rosle Graff, Meri Miller and daughter and Jeri Newby and daughter. Mrs. Ella Reeves spent the past week in Las Vegas and Indian In-dian Springs, Nev., with Mr. and Mrs. Evan Reeves and girls and Mr. and Mrs. Stelman Hlnton and daughter. Saturday Lynn Reeves traveled to Vegas to get his wife and they returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ren Roundy of St George visited in town one dav last week. Mrs. Colleen Williams and girls and Deborah Williams spent Friday Fri-day and Saturday in Hurricane with Colleen's mother, Mrs. Jim Hastings. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Houser were Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Reeves, Larry Lar-ry Reeves and children of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bosanko and sons of Boulder City, Nev., Mrs. Bosanko is the former Yvonne Sherratt of Cedar City. Visiting Bp. and Mrs. Joseph F. Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Williams and girls of Las Vegas. Mrs. Jennie Williams enjoyed a visit from her nephew and family fa-mily Mr. and Mrs. Golden Reeves of Salt Lake City. . Mr. and Mrs. Stan Mosely of I Las Vegas spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams. I Terry Williams traveled from Salt Lake City to get his wife Lauralie and daughter Holly who I have been v isiting the past two j weeks with Ethna and Barbara Williams. Miss Hanna Davis of Henderson Hender-son spent several days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delile Davis. Chesley Williams spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday in Las Vegas with friends. Miss Karen Olds was home from Provo to spend the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Olds. Mr. and Mrs. James Cornelius have Miss Barbara Smith, an Indian In-dian girl from Gallup, N. M., living with them and attending school in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Judd and family of Cedar City spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday with their parents, pa-rents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt. Pfc. Dean Brent Nelson returned re-turned to his army base in Georgia. Geor-gia. Mrs. Nelson, the former Ma-reta Ma-reta Christensen, will remain here until her hunsband is settled; set-tled; then she plans to join him. |
