Show Escalante Valley Electric Assn. Reports $41,975 Profit Power consumers of the Escalante Esca-lante Valley Electric Assn., Inc., this week received notice that last year their co op showed a profit of $41,975.71, it is announced announc-ed by Leon Bowler, manager. Bowler pointed out that the profit amounts to 26.68 percent of their power bills, and is credited credit-ed to their capital credits account. ac-count. This means that under the capital credits plan, at a future date each consumer will receive 26.68 percent of his power bill for the past year, by check. Bowler also stated that after receiving U. S. Bureau of Reclamation Recla-mation power last year Escalante Valley Electric Assn , Inc. discounted dis-counted their rates by 33.33 percent. per-cent. "Even with this reduction the association, after amator-ization amator-ization and all operational expenses ex-penses still showed a savings to their users," Bowler stated.
