Show Tcurney Play-offs With the summer recreation program drawing to Its conclusion, conclus-ion, Richard Jones, city recreation recrea-tion director, has arranged several sever-al play-off baseball games and all-star games to be played during dur-ing the coming week at the base, ball diamond at the high school athletic field. Two of these games will be played Monday with a Little League all-star game at 6:30 p. m. and a Pony League play-off game at 8 p. m. Wednesday at 6:30 p. m. will be a second pony league play-off game, followed by married women's wo-men's softball. Thursday at 9:30 a. m. will be boys' swimming, children's park activities at 4 p. m., and a pony league play-off game at 8 p. m. If It Is needed. Friday it is girls' swimming at 9:30 a. m. and Saturday the mar. ried and single men will tangle in softball at 8:30 p. m. Mr. Jones extends an invitation invita-tion to the public to attend these activities, especially the baseball games, which are played in the evening so all can attend. He has had seven baseball teams playing play-ing during the season with very exciting games played several , nights each week, with large number of boys participating. |
