Show Fair Entertainment Features Planned by Wranglers Two days of fine entertain- ment features are being prepared I for the pleasure of visitors to the 'iron County Fair on Saturday, I Sunday and Monday, Sept. 1, 2 land 3, states Mel Eyre, board-j board-j chairman of that portion of the ' event. The main entertainment feature fea-ture of the fair will be two days, of racing, riding and roping, ap propriately, named "Turf-Arena Days," by the Red Hill Wranglers, Wrang-lers, which group will have direct di-rect charge of these events on 'Saturday and Monday afternoons. after-noons. ept. 1 and 3, with post time each afternoon set for 2 I o'clock. I Features of thee two afternoon after-noon programs will be a grand entry by mounted drill teamc from Red Hill Wranglers, Par owan saddle club, and the Iron Rangers, Cedar saddle club. Five good races will be held each day with the following events Interspersed throughout the programs: Exhibition bronco and bull riding; matched clover-leaf clover-leaf and eight barrel races between be-tween picked Wranger and Ranger Ran-ger teams; Jackpot calf roping, and varied equestrian games and specialty numbers. Mr. Eyre states that there will be dancing Saturday and Monday Mon-day nights. Music for Saturday night's danc, which will be on the tennis court, will be furnished furnish-ed by Andy Burton and his melody melo-dy makers. Monday night the dance will be in the high school gym with San Mitchell's orchestra orches-tra furnishing the music. |
