Show Little League Review The storms of the past week caused postponement of four games in the Little League baseball base-ball race, so action has been very light this week. Only two games were played, the Lions team winning both to maintain the team's record of no defeats. Tuesday Lions took the measure mea-sure of Milne 11 to 9, scoring 11 runs in the first two Innings and then hanging on to the lead although al-though the rallying truckers came close to turning defeat Into victory. Wednesday night the Lions again were triumphant defeating defeat-ing the Elks by a score of 8 to (L The victors bunched their runs In the second and sixth Innings, scoring four In each, while the losers scored all their runs In the last three innnlngs. |
