Show SUMMIT NEWS St Hulda Peterson Mrs. Carol Johnson of Cedar City has returned to Summit to make her home after living In Cedar City for the pust three years. Mrs. Marcella Mitchell and two sons, Larry and Stephen, and Mrs.. Leatha Farnsworth and her daughter Jeannie, all of Ogden, are -here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Dalley. Their sis-ter,. sis-ter,. , Helen Dalton of Parowan. and brother Leland Dalley of Ce. dar City, and their families spent July 4 here with them. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Farrow accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Ardell Walker to the St. George temple tem-ple last week. Mrs. Kathleen Styer, Salinas, Calif., and, her four sons. Rod-ley,- Michael, Steven and Jimmy, are here visiting with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jones. They expect to remain for a month. Hyrum Humpherys anJ two sons Keith and Kent, and daughter daugh-ter Gayland spent the Fourth of July "holiday season visiting his father, Ray. Humpherys at Logan, Lo-gan, and with Mr. and Mrs. Stew, art Thurman and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Humpherys at Star Valley, Wyo. Keith remained with his uncle In Wyoming for the remainder re-mainder of the summer and the others returned Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stucki of Salt Lake City made a short visit with Mrs. Hulda Peterson on July 4. Mr. and Mrs. DeLynn Chamberlain Chamber-lain of Summit, Kay Chamberlain Chamber-lain of Parowan and Roger Chamberlain of California, spent Sunday with their brother Cornell Cor-nell Chamberlain. The Fourth of July celebration here included a parade with children and adults participating, participat-ing, a patriotic program, and a sports program in the afternoon. Luncheon was served by the Relief Re-lief Society at noon. Mr. ana Mrs. Ray Farrow took thfir daughter Marjorie and son Ga1and to Salt Lake City, where Marjorie has employment and from where Gayland will return to his military service. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker made a business trip to Salt Lake City during the week. Dick. Donnle and Colleen Fife spent the Fourth in Kanarraville with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Cllne and two small children of Salt Lake City are here visiting with Mrs. Cline's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Rudger Fife accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Burley T. Cram and children of Whlttler-Callf., Whlttler-Callf., on a trip to scenic points In this area during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Madsen made a business trip to Circle-vllle Circle-vllle Monday to visit with Mrs. Mary Stmklns. |
