Show MR Session Program Outlined For Stake Conference The Mutual Improvement, session ses-sion of ilie Parowan Stake Conference Con-ference will be held at 7:30 Sunday Sun-day evening, Nov. 15 in the Enoch Ward chapel it is announced an-nounced by officers of the Young Men's group who are in charge of the program. Two speakers have been selected select-ed for the program. Miss Lennie Page, who recently returned from the Mexican Mission of the L D S church will talk on our "American "Ameri-can Heritage and Story of Thanksgiving," and Roy Hatch, Parowan Seminary principal will talk on "The Restoration of the Gospel" Colored slide presentations of "America The Beautiful," and "How Beautiful Thy Temples Lord," by Hal S. Mitchell of the superintendence with appropriate music by the Paragonah and Parowan Third wards. Special musical numbers have also been arranged for the evening and all members of the stake are urged to attend. Other sessions of the conference confer-ence will be a special meeting for some of the priesthood groups on Saturday night at 7:30 in the Parowan First-Second Ward chapel, cha-pel, and two general sessions on Sunday. These sessions will be held at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. according ac-cording to plans made by the stake presidency, and will be in the Parowan Third Ward chapel. A social will follow the priest-howl priest-howl meeting on Saturday night. Elder Clifford E. Young, assistant assist-ant to the quorum of the Twelve Apostles will represent the general gen-eral authorities of the L D S church at the Saturday meeting and the general sessions on Sunday Sun-day it is announced. |
