Show Jehovah's Witnesses Assembly To Hold 3-Day Meet The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York will sponsor a three-day assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses In Cedar City Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sun-day, Dec. 4 to 6. The convention which will be held at the C S U auditoiium Is for Bible instruction instruc-tion and concentrated gospel preaching in the area, spokesmen spokes-men for the group announced today. All three days of the assembly will consist of Bible talks, discussions dis-cussions and demonstrations which are open to the public without charge. This is the first assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cedar City. Spokesmen said that It is hoped that an organized congregation congre-gation of Jehovah's Witnesses will be formed here as a result of the meeting. A similar circuit meeting representing rep-resenting 10 congregations was held a year agj in Provo which nearly 500 Jenovah's Witnesses attended. It is expected that 450 or more will attend the Cedar City gathering. N. Kovalak, Jr., of New York will be the featured speaker at the event. He will appear on the program all three days and will deliver the main public address at 3 p. m. Sunday, Dec. 6. his subject sub-ject is "What U Your Destiny?" Cedar City householders are being asked 1n personal visits by the Witnesses to provide moderate mod-erate priced rooms for the attending attend-ing ministers and their families. Available hotel and tourist court rooms have also been booked in the city. I Delegates from Nevada, Wyoming, Wyo-ming, Idaho and Utah will attend. |
