Show "Sooner Philosopher" Toilddress Knife, Fork Meeting Jeff Williams, the Oklahoma bearcat, lawyer, wit, brilliant after-dinner speaker known officially offi-cially as "the Sooner Philosopher," Philoso-pher," and a former International Internation-al Director of Rotary, will be the guest of honor at the next meeting meet-ing of the Escalante Knife and Fork Club. The affair will be held at El Escalante Hotel on Monday, Nov. 16, according to Gordon Christen-sen, Christen-sen, president. A large crowd of members and their out-of-town guests are expected ex-pected to attend the meeting and to hear Mr. Williams speak on "Getting Back to the American Way." His humor Is worthy of the best professionals and his audience may rest assured that theie will never bea dull moment mo-ment while Mr. Williams is on the platform. M. Williams was born in Texas Tex-as and raised in Arkansas but now makes his home in Chick-asha, Chick-asha, Okla., where he conduct? a thriving law practice. Like many busy men he always has been able to find time to take on additional work, especially if that extra work has to do with the welfare of his fellowmen.
