Vice President I CSU Election Outcome For Key Positions Recorded Steve Adams, Parowan, was elected to the position cf president presi-dent of the College of Southern Utah student body last Thursday Thurs-day following a week of campaign cam-paign activities, it was announced an-nounced by Jay Heaton, present president. Mr. Adams will take over the reins of student government at the opening of school next fall. Helen Tuft, Monroe, was elected elect-ed to the office of vice president and Darleen May, Delta, will take over the job of student body secretary next year. All three of the elected officers offi-cers have been active in stu-Ident stu-Ident government this year and they have won the support of the students for their reign next year. Results were announced Friday on the CSU campus. Officers who will be released at the end of the the spring quar-'er quar-'er include Mr. Heaton, president; Patty Petty, vice president, and Dorothv Rencher, secretary. Mr. Heaton is a native of Ordcrville, Miss Petty is a Cedar City lass 'and Miss Rencher is from New Harmony. I Representatives from the various vari-ous classes will not be chosen until fall, Mr. Heaton stated. These representatives will complete com-plete the organization of the student stu-dent government at the college. Other assignments such as yearbook year-book editor, school paper editor and other positions of import- ' ance will be revealed in the near future, Mr. Heaton concluded. i " ! ' f ! v.
