Dalley Describes Local Geological Formations to Lions Parley Dalley, professor of geology geo-logy at Ihe College of Southern Utah, was featured speaker at the regular meeting of the Cedar City Lions Club Monday noon. Mr. Dalley gave an interesting and highly enlightening discussion discus-sion on the various geological j formations in southern Utah and particu'ariy on Highway 91. Besides the discussion Mr Dalley Dal-ley presented charts of various formations and explained them to the Lions members. A short question and answer period followed fol-lowed the discussion. Several members of the Cedar City volunteer fire department were in attendance as guests of the club. The club presented to the firemen a Scott Air Mask to be used by the department. I This mask, the second acquired by the department, will be veryj useful in cases of emergencies that occasionally arise. A brief report ol the activities of the department de-partment during the past year was given at the meeting.
