Show Car Dealers Show Wares in Gala Parade, Display The importance of Cedar City as an automobile distribution center for this part of the state I as well as areas in Nevada and Arizona, was impressively demonstrated dem-onstrated Saturday when the Retail Re-tail Merchants Committee of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Com-merce staged an "Automobile Day." Just before noon a parade of 1934 model automobiles on sale in Cedar City was started on Main Street with a public address ad-dress system used to announce the models and the dealers who handle them here. The parade amazed most local residents and all visitors when all of the beautiful beau-tiful models were brought together to-gether for one showing. After the parade the new models mo-dels were parked on Harding Avenue and were kept there for the afternoon with salesmen on hand to show the ears to the many visitors who spent considerable consid-erable time on the street. Among the ears displayed were Ford, riymouth, Chevrolet, Dodge Chrysler, Euick, Mercury, Lin coln, Packard, Studebaker, Willys, Wil-lys, Nash, Kaiser, De Soto, Pon-tiac, Pon-tiac, Oldsmobile and Cadillac, with a considerable range of models mo-dels in each. |
