Show Ranger Assignment Announced for Dixie National Forest ! v , : . .: ; . -A , : 1 - ... A . . ' , , ? i ! j J i i ; I t ' '.' ' ADRIAN E. DALTON ! I Adrian E. Dalton, forester with the U. S. Forest Service for several sever-al years, reported for duty on the Dixie National Forest on April 5 according to Forest Supervisor Albert Al-bert Albertson. Mr. Dalton was transferred from the Fishlake National Forest For-est where he has been employed since May 1953 on the Fillmore ranger district. He is a graduate of the Utah State Agricultural College at Logan, with a degree in range management. Prior to his assignment to the Fishlake he worked at the Desert branch of the Intermountain Forest and Range Experiment Station near Milford, and at the Southwest Forest and Ranger Experiment Station near Tucson, Ariz. His assignment on the Dixie Forest will be as assistant ranger ran-ger on the Powell ranger district with headquarters at Panguitch. Mr. Dalton is a native of Par-owan, Par-owan, where he spent his early life. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dalton. He Is married, his wife being the former Miss Susan Su-san Halterman, daughter of of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Halterman, also of Parowan. They are the parents of two children, a son six years of age" and a daughter, three. The family is residing in Fillmore at present where they will remain until the end of the scchool year when they will move to Panguitch. He is a veteran of World War II, having served two years in the European theatre of operations in the mechanized cavalry. i i |
