Show Schedule Announced for Mobile X-Ray Unit Visit in Iron County Wednesday, April 14 a mobile chest x-ray unit will move into Iron County for an approximate 10 day visit that will find the unit placed in Kanarraville, Cedar Ce-dar City. Parowan, Paragonah and the Cross Roads Junction. The unit is being sponsored by the Iron County Tuberculosis Society So-ciety and the Utah State Health Department. It is hoped that everyone 15 years of age or over will take advantage of the unit and have an x-ray made during the visit. Mrs. Darwin Nelson, chairman of the Tuberculosis Society in the county pointed out that the x-rays x-rays are free with absolutely no obligation to patrons. Residents of Kanarraville and New Harmony have been urged to visit the unit on Wednesday, April 14 when it will be set up at the church building. Mrs. Nelson Nel-son states that this is the first time the unit has even stopped in Kanarraville and she urges all residents to take advantage of the opportunity to have this service performed for them. To Examine Students On Thursday, April 16 the unit will be set up at the College of Southern Utah and students there and those 15 years of age and older from the high school will be processed that day. On April 16 and 17, with a lay-off for Easter, 19 and 20 the unit will be in Cedar City proper, probably In front of the Southern Utah Power Co. On these four days tha unit will be open from 10 to 12 each morning and from one to .nix each afternoon. Pertinent Pertin-ent data for each person who visits the unit will be recorded by volunteer workers. Floral pieces from Cedar Floral and Hanzon Floral were used to decorate the stage. Working on the committee in charge of the pageant were Mr. Angelo, chairman; Robert Hanson, Han-son, Max Bonzo, David Castleton, George Welch and Klien Rollo. |
